Afterschool Matters at Donelson – YMCA of Middle Tennessee

Join us and experience a typical day at this NAZA-funded program! Refreshments will be provided. We’ll have warm-up activities and games like sudoku with competition between students and adults. Then you’ll get to see youth-led enhancements which will be divided into three 15-minute segments: STEM, Arts, and Sports. Youth are alsow writing, directing, and performing a skit about why afterschool programs matter to them. At the end, students will lead a reflection gallery walk of light bulb art decorations and any artwork they have for display including photos of programming.
