This Recreation Leader position is part-time non-Civil Service with the Metro Parks and Recreation Department and is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting aquatic and/or recreational or sports activities.
Applicants must be able to work with diverse populations and be available to work in any location.
The work locations for these positions are often in inner-city areas and require working evenings and some weekends. This classification works in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
Metro’s Parks and Recreation Department has something for everyone through its variety of strategically placed facilities and programs. Parks offers cultural arts and fitness classes, dog parks and nature programs and 16,000 acres of open space, including 121 parks and 19 greenways.
