Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) Basics
This is a 2-part workshop. Participants must attend both days (February 2 & 3) from 9am-12pm.
The Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) is a validated instrument designed to empower you to evaluate the quality of your youth program, giving you the tools to identify your program’s strengths and target areas for improvement. Using the YPQA tool, you will be able to measure the quality of your program’s (1) safe environment, (2) supportive environment, (3) interaction amongst peers and between peers and adults, and (4) youth engagement. You will receive access to the assessment tool, guidebook, and instruction on how to use the YPQA to assess, plan, and improve your program. This tool can be used continuously to support your staff’s development.
