Justin Singleton has served as a youth advocate in various capacities throughout his career. He has served as a residential counselor for the Oasis Center, school social worker for Metro Nashville Public Schools, and the state coordinator for Tennessee’s Education for the Homeless Children and Youth Program.
Justin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Lander University, and then earned his Master’s of Science Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee College of Social Work with a concentration in Management, Leadership and Community Practice. He is a co-founder and active member of the Coalition of Black Social Workers through the University of Tennessee. Justin also serves as an Ambassador of the Network of Social Work Management. Whenever he is not giving back to the community, he is usually preparing for or running an obstacle course race.
