Allie leads the Youth In Action! initiative. She works with youth from middle and high school, as well as other Nashville community members on youth voice and equity. She created Youth in Action! while in high school, a youth-led leadership group taking action on issues they care about in Nashville. The group also collaborates with NAZA-funded programs and other community stakeholders to create projects (and/or solutions to these issues) at the school and community level. She first started this work while volunteering at Nations Ministry Center in 2017 tutoring refugee youth. She graduated high school in 2021 and is currently studying Innovation in Society with a minor in Sustainability at Arizona State University. She is interested in creating systems for inclusive community development through her work, as she is passionate about inclusivity and youth voice. In her free time she enjoys making connections to her community through photography and cooking.
