All virtual programs are open to youth enrolled at any MNPS middle school. However, if/when virtual afterschool programs return to an in-person format, an in-person option will ONLY be available to youth enrolled at the listed associated school(s).
WWCW Afterschool Academy at Cleveland Street Baptist Church
WWCW Afterschool Academy provides dinner upon arrival following dismissal from school. Tutoring and homework assistance, social/emotional learning, restorative practice and mindful training sessions along with enrichment. Flag football, golf, yoga, African dance, hip/hop dance, spoken word, sewing and arts & crafts are offered. In addition to the afterschool program, WWCW has added a school day component to assist middle school students from KIPP in navigating the virtual learning. We offer a full day (7:40 am - 6:00 pm), with enrichment taking place from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
