Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) Basics
The Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) is a tool that enables you to evaluate the quality of your youth program, empowering you to identify strengths and areas for improvement. With the YPQA tool, you’ll measure your program’s quality in four key areas: (1) safety, (2) supportiveness, (3) peer-to-peer and peer-to-adult interaction, and (4) youth engagement. You’ll receive the assessment tool, guidebook, and instruction on using it to assess, plan, and improve your program. Also, this tool can be used continuously to help your staff’s development.
