All virtual programs are open to youth enrolled at any MNPS middle school. However, if/when virtual afterschool programs return to an in-person format, an in-person option will ONLY be available to youth enrolled at the listed associated school(s).

Explore! Program at Explore Community School

The extended learning program at Explore! Community School provides homework help, academic enrichment and extra-curricular activities such as art, games, music, drama and physical activity. We also offer opportunities for social-emotional support, civic engagement, and career exploration. Thursdays will be virtual via Google Classroom. We will offer homework help and drama club with Nashville Children's Theater.

The Union- Stratford

The Union prepares seventh and eighth-grade students for high school success and focuses on the critical developmental years of adolescents. The Union is school-based or online when schools are remote; open to all seventh and eighth-grade students; flexible with students? sports and extracurricular activities; and provides compelling, culturally relevant activities year-round. Our team is active during and after school and ensures every student has the academic, social and emotional, and college and career guidance to successfully transition from middle to high school.

Rise @ Litton

We are here to supplement academics, promote social and emotional growth, teach leadership skills, and offer enrichment. We will provide assignment help and remote learning support through Schoology and Zoom. This program has a strong focus on art and STEM programming, and we will distribute activity kits weekly, complete with all project materials so that students and families can engage in these activities at home.
