We are pleased to announce that Shelba Waldron, NAZA Northeast Zone Director, will be presenting at the 6th Annual Systems of Care Across Tennessee (SOCAT) Conference this month! Her breakout session, Elevating the Youth Voice through After-School Programming, will be on Friday, 9/21 from 2:30-3:30pm. This 2-day conference is free and offers 4 unique tracks: Infant and Early Childhood | Engaging Youth and Young Adults | All About Families | Evidence-Based & Evidence-Informed Practices. Youth, families, community partners, state agencies, and individuals with an interest in behavioral health are invited to attend. Activities and strategies will be presented that have been shown to improve executive function and academic and life skills. Lunch will be provided.
