Originally from New Jersey, Rachel has over a decade of experience in event planning and has led communications projects at several non-profits. She has taught at the middle school, high school, and college levels, as well as volunteering as a GED tutor. She believes that high-quality educational programming should be accessible to everyone.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors Program) in Astrophysics from Ursinus College, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington, and a Master of Teaching & Learning in Secondary Education from the University of Canterbury.
