MNPS Civil Rights & Section 504 Training
This training aims to provide Community Partners and Extended Learning staff with a comprehensive understanding of civil rights in the education context. Through this training, participants will gain valuable insights into discrimination and harassment, particularly in relation to Section 504 Disability, Title VI Race, and Title IX Sex. Key concepts such as harassment, intimidation, bullying, and cyberbullying will be clearly defined, and participants will learn about their reporting and investigative responsibilities. All organizations offering OST programs in MNPS are required to send at least one representative to attend this training.
