Project Connect Facilitator Training

School staff and community partners are invited to join this training that focuses on helping Middle and High School students with vaping/smoking cessation. This training will equip you on trends in vaping, cannabis, and other substances teens are currently using. You will also be trained on the Project Connect curriculum. Anyone who completes this training will be certified to facilitate the 6–8-week program within their current sphere of influence and will receive all the materials needed.

After the training, participants will be able to engage in training modules with information on:
– Awareness of Nicotine Products and Use Trends
– Effective Implementation of the Project CONNECT® Curriculum
– Group Facilitation Skills
– Motivational Interviewing to Elicit Change
– Implementing the CONNECT 5 Digital Learning Platform
